chAIrman ("we", "our", "the Service") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the chAIrman platform.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext.

Billing Information: Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers, CVVs, or full payment details. We receive from Stripe: your subscription status, plan tier, and billing period.

Usage Data: We collect basic usage metrics including: subscription tier, login timestamps, and download events. This helps us improve the Service and provide support.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

chAIrman is designed with privacy in mind. The MCP server binary runs entirely on your local machine. We do not collect:

• Your project files, source code, or repository contents.
• Agent prompts, outputs, or task descriptions.
• Contents of your CLAUDE.md files or skills used.
• Dashboard data, agent activity, or handoff documents.
• Any data processed by your AI agents.

All orchestration data (state files, handoffs, metrics, messages) is stored locally in ~/.claude-orchestrator/ on your machine and never transmitted to our servers.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account.
• To process subscription payments via Stripe.
• To validate your license and enforce subscription tier limits.
• To deliver the chAIrman binary download.
• To provide customer support.
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts, subscription changes).
• To improve the Service based on aggregate usage patterns.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Stripe — for payment processing (governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy).
• Hosting providers — our API runs on Railway and our website on Cloudflare Pages. These providers may process request metadata (IP addresses, timestamps) as part of normal operations.
• Law enforcement — if required by valid legal process.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or billing purposes.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

• HTTPS encryption for all API and website traffic.
• Hashed passwords (never stored in plaintext).
• JWT-based authentication with secure token handling.
• Industry-standard encryption for locally stored integration credentials.

No system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but will notify affected users promptly in the event of a data breach.

8. Cookies

The chAIrman website uses minimal cookies and local storage:

• Authentication token — stored in localStorage to maintain your login session.
• Stripe — may set cookies during the checkout process as part of payment processing.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate personal data.
• Request deletion of your account and personal data.
• Export your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent for non-essential data processing.

chAIrman is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 16, we will delete it promptly.

Our servers may be located in different jurisdictions. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these locations, which may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.
